Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website, book an appointment, or write to us — and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language, because that is how we prefer to speak with you.

Yang Wang is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

What data we collect, and why

1. When you book an appointment

We collect your name, phone number, email address, and the service and time you booked. We use this to schedule and confirm your appointment, to contact you about it (including calling you back to confirm), and to keep a record of your visits. Booking data is processed by the Amelia booking system installed on our own website.

2. When you message us (Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, or the contact form)

We receive the content of your message, your name or profile name, and the technical identifiers the messaging platform provides. We use this to answer your questions and arrange appointments. Conversations are stored in our own self-hosted customer-service system, on a server controlled by us — not by a third-party cloud provider.

3. AI-assisted replies

To answer you quickly and in your language, we use software that helps us translate messages and prepare draft replies, including artificial-intelligence services (Anthropic’s Claude API). Message content is transmitted to these services for processing. Drafts are reviewed by our team — a real person remains responsible for our conversations with you. We do not use your messages to train AI models, and our AI providers commit contractually not to train on this data.

4. Health information you choose to share

If you tell us about a health condition (for example, an injury, pregnancy, or a condition relevant to massage or acupuncture), we use that information only to advise you and to provide the service safely. We ask you not to send detailed medical records through messaging platforms — these things are better discussed in person.

5. When you visit our website

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type) and the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. These tools use cookies and collect data under their providers’ own policies. Our site also embeds Google Fonts and a Google Reviews widget, which may transfer your IP address to Google when the page loads.

Where your data lives

 • Booking and website data: on our web hosting (European Union).
 • Messages and customer-service records: on our own server (self-hosted, controlled by the business).
 • Messaging platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): processed by Meta Platforms under Meta’s own privacy policy.
 • AI translation/drafting: processed by Anthropic (United States) for the purpose of preparing replies, under data-processing terms.
 • Analytics/advertising: Google and Meta, under their respective policies.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records and conversation history while you remain our client and for as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your conversation history or contact details at any time (see your rights below); we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to keep specific records.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing messages without your consent. We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf.

Your rights

Under the Albanian Law No. 124/2024 “On Personal Data Protection” (and, for EU residents, the GDPR), you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to office@taichi.al — we will answer within 30 days.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the Albanian Information and Data Protection Commissioner (Komisioneri për të Drejtën e Informimit dhe Mbrojtjen e të Dhënave Personale, www.idp.al).

Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics 4), advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), and language preference (our translation system). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
